Born2Win Social Welfare Trust is a Transgender person-led organization that works towards the empowerment of members of the Transgender community in Tamil Nadu. It creates positive role models within the community and facilitates education and employment opportunities.
What began as a small effort in 2013 has grown into a recognized force for change — acknowledged by national bodies, supported by volunteers, and most importantly, trusted by the community it serves.

Social and human rights activist with an MA in Sociology, BA in Public Administration, and a Diploma in Counseling. Also a writer, publishing three volumes of poetry in Tamil.

Distributed educational scholarships to 45 Transgender students pursuing higher studies across Chennai and Madurai. Funding covers tuition, books, and hostel support for one academic year.
Conducted a two-day vocational skill training camp on International Women's Day, covering beauty, tailoring, and digital literacy. 60 participants received certification on completion.
Organized a community awareness march along Marina Beach on Earth Day. Volunteers planted 200 saplings at the Kotturpuram tree park as part of our green environment initiative.
Signed MoUs with three Chennai-based corporations for inclusive hiring. Successfully placed 22 Transgender individuals in full-time employment with health and social security benefits.
Facilitated school re-enrolment for 30 Transgender youth who had dropped out due to social barriers. Partnered with the Tamil Nadu Education Department to ensure dignity-affirming enrolment processes.
Led a neighbourhood clean-up drive across Saidapet and Kotturpuram. Over 80 community volunteers collected and sorted waste, with recyclables donated to a local cooperative.
Ran a six-week digital literacy programme equipping 75 community members with computer basics, internet safety, and online job application skills. Laptops were provided by corporate donors.
Three-day intensive bootcamp on starting a small business — from registration to marketing on social media. 40 participants received seed grants of ₹5,000 to start micro-enterprises.

Born2Win Social Welfare Trust was formally registered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, founded by Swetha Sudhakar. The trust began with a single reading programme for Transgender youth in Saidapet, serving 12 students in its first month.
